Our local MP Wera Hobhouse feels that tourists place “pressure” on the City of Bath, rather than acknowledging that Bath exists as it does, and is wealthy solely because of tourism.
BaNES have voted for a Tourist Tax without saying how they will identify a tourist vs a local resident, how much it will be or how it will be collected. i fail to see how you can vote for something without understanding what it is that you are voting for…
