BaNES admit “doubling investment” into footpaths to encourage “active travel”. Let’s hope all other demands are met within existing budgets and council tax will not need to rise to meet social care or education needs!
Whilst this footpath in Chew Magna looks beautiful, BaNES acknowledge that damage to the footpath has been caused by vehicle overrun but then removed the bollards? Not sure they’ve thought that through…
